By Terry is a beauty brand founded by French-born Terry de Gunzburg. I could go on and on about Terry and her label, and I may do so in a later post, but I'll just say this: By Terry is one of the best brands I have ever used (and I have used many). The By Terry Rouge Terrybly lipstick has quickly become one of my favorites. It's as luxurious as it is effective. The packaging alone would make you want to buy it, but the formula stands out on its own. It has that desirable creamy texture that prevents the lips from drying out and because it's an age defense lipstick, it nourishes and rejuvenates. The lipstick is also richly pigmented, which gives it good staying power.
The color I chose is called Narcotic Sienna (such an unfortunate name for such a beautiful product). I paired it with the By Terry Terrybly Lip Pencil in Red Cancan, but I think any red liner will do. I'm not going to lie, the lipstick is wildly expensive, but I think it's worth the splurge. Every woman deserves a little luxury in her life.
